self-worth & Salary

Self-Worth & Salary – are you on the right track?

I was watching the news, the other morning, and there was a very interesting conversation on there about a potential link between salary and self-worth. Apparently, the more confidence someone has, especially in their appearance, the higher their salary. This was based on research which showed significant links between the two.

I was thinking about it, over the past few days, and I think there is some sort of link. If you know anything about astrology, you may be aware that the second house is the house of self-worth and also earned income.

I have always struggled with feeling confident in my achievements. People have always told me that I have no confidence in my abilities and don’t make the most of my skills. It is only recently that I have been trying to get over this. I didn’t have a good time in school and, although I left with good grades, I didn’t feel like I had any particular skills to make a career out of and so I ended up in low paid jobs and sometimes I didn’t even have a job! I have seen my salary increase so much over this past year and this does link with me having more confidence in myself.

If any of you reading this also feel this way, I can help. Over the coming months, I will be designing programs you can access to help improve your confidence and self-worth. I have personal experience of this, as well as professional training in psychology, NLP, life coaching and hypnotherapy. I will be using all of these areas to build something that will have the results you need to go forward in your life and attract the higher salary you truly deserve.

As well as this, I will be designing programs to help improve your appearance using the power of your mind. With my background in fitness training and holistic therapies I will also be helping you to get your dream body and look and feel younger.

Keep visiting this website, as it grows, as I will be looking for beta testers to test my programs before I put them on the market. I will be offering some free and some at a huge discount, so keep your eyes peeled for updates on this.

If you want to try something in the meantime, to help you get started, I want you to take a look at what you have earned in the past five years on average. This figure is what you think you are worth. It is likely that if you try to imagine yourself earning more than this you will feel uncomfortable. Research has actually shown that some jobs with high salaries attached receive no applications, yet once they reduce the salary a lot more people apply. This is because a lot of people don’t apply for high salary positions because they don’t feel they are worthy of them. This is sometimes known as imposter syndrome, as people feel they are a fraud in positions where they earn a lot because they don’t feel they have the skills to do the job, yet if they were doing the same job on half the salary, this is not such an issue. Why should this be the case?

I want you to take your average salary from the past five years and add on another two thousand to this figure. This should not be too high to make you uncomfortable. I want you to create an affirmation for that amount. This is a powerful way of accessing the subconscious mind. Write it on a piece of paper where you can see it every day. You can write something like ‘I earn £xxxx’ or ‘I deserve a pay rise to £xxx’ . If you put it somewhere you see it each day it you will gradually notice it less and less and this is where the power of the subconscious comes in as you won’t consciously see it but your subconscious mind will start creating ways to make this a reality for you. Sounds woo-woo, I know but this is how the subconscious mind can help you to create the life of your dreams.

What have you got to lose? Give it a try and see what miracles can happen for you. If you want help with this, check out my success coaching programs HERE.
